I have been in that position several times in my life. It makes the times when we are insured that much more appreciated. But yeah, you're right. Because it sucks when it boils down to, "Okay, well, do I buy groceries this week or do I take Junior to the doctor for antibiotics/buy Junior a pair of shoes because he outgrew his old ones/get Junior's teeth cleaned and checked?"

We have insurance, yet I still have to ask that question because co-pays, lost time from work (job security is an issue), etc.
