The Only Reason not to testify under oath is so that you can LIE.
The Only Reason not to have a transcript is so that no one can FACT CHECK your testimony.
The Only Reason not to have an open hearing is because you are AFRAID of public scrutiny.
The Only Reason to refuse to testify is because you know you are GUILTY.

I doubt that breaking any oath would bother him, but getting caught in the lie because of paperwork, etc. would.
It constantly amazes me how much drivel can come from the mouth of that... that... that... (I am looking for a word...).
You are completely correct. If there is nothing to fear, then why not get up and answer the questions? Why hide? WHY? Because THEY NEED THE PROTECTION... they HAVE something to hide!
In 20 years someone will investigate and find out that the Bush and Cheyney fortune was greatly increased during their 'reign'. Hmmmm... wonder why.
