Well, that was long.
Just spent 4 1/2 hours total driving to/from and waiting in line to get a book signed by a favorite celebrity. Of course, by the time I got to the front of the line, he was over it, too. Perfectly understandable. I think perhaps it is better to meet these people in social situations or not at all. Not really fun, oh, well.

Still. That is how he makes his living. He could have pulled it together. You spent your money on his book, ya know.
He was nice enough, it was just long. I think I had possibly unreasonable expectations. When my camera batteries died right at the table, he still let me stay and took a picture of us with my phone and such. They were just rushing by that point. I wanted it to be fun and relaxed. It was NOT.
Ohhhh, I am sorry. I think perhaps it would've been more fun if I went with you... it's never fun to go alone...
Maybe he will be at the next GS meeting or something... I mean in what social situation would you meet him (I know, your DH met him but still...)? Maybe he will sit next to you at a ball game or something sometime... He is destined to be your other husband. lol.

You never know, we're thinking about contacting Gina Torres about Haven, so maybe if that hits. What I learned from it is it's not my venue. The people in line were very nice and fun, just the whole thing was rather a bust.
