Finished sock 2 except for sewn bind off. Liking the corrugated ribbing. Unraveled sewn cast off of sock 1. Waiting for needles to be free from sock 2. Will be back later with...finished project!!!!!!!!!!

The contest over at Knitty Mama is open until the 21st of July. Sorry to hear about the GS politics. There was actually lots more involved with the day camp scenerio. I ended up crying all of the way home and may never go back. I just didn't want to post too much because I don't know who may read my blog. It's too bad when high school-type behavior ruins what should be a good time for the girls though. Cyber hugs to you. Please do post pictures of your socks.
Ruining it for the girls would be the last straw for me! They are the whole reason we do this, the whole reason we tolerate bad, mean behavior. But we are supposed to be teaching the girls not to be mean! Why people can't see this I do not know. Sorry about the crying. I'm all butterfly stomached, myself. "See you around the service unit" seems abrupt to me, but of course, J and I will be totally fine. And we have room for some new girls, which I like very much. I like recruiting and talking girls into wanting to join up, as I think they are getting so much that they won't get anywhere else out of the program.
