But first...
I submitted a photo to the Yarn Museum gallery last night!!! It was the second Sloopy skein, but closer up and cropped to get rid of the stupid black cotton tying yarn. Wish me luck!

NAME: Wendy
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate? Egg Nog, but low carb. Sit down for this one if you don't do the low carb, I kid you not. Half and Half plus heavy cream plus sugar free Egg Nog syrup. Amazing!
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree? Depends on whose house we are at at the moment.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white? Either one but NO BLINKING.
4. Do you hang mistletoe? Mom does, but we don't stay home.
5. When do you put your decorations up? When the kids make me.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Mulled cider
7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child: Believing I saw Santa's sleigh out my window.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? Hey, what you talking about? Santa only comes to your house if you believe!
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Kids do. I do sometimes, but I really like to do the whole loot pile in one fell swoop!
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree? We don't put up our own tree, as we are never home. But I usually decorate Mom's tree with ornaments from my childhood plus some bows and things from when my stepdad didn't approve of the whole business so it had to look NOT Christmasy.
11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Love it in all its aspects. But I don't have to live with it!
12. Can you ice skate? Yes. Took lessons about ten years ago with the ambition to be able to skate backwards. Ended up being able to do baby spins and jumps. Very, very satisfying experience!
13. Do you remember your favorite gift? My first bike. I spent months literally praying for it.
14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Family
15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? I wish I still ate them all. Apricot balls, yum!
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Opening presents in my jammies.
17. What tops your tree? An angel that my mom made when I was a kid.
18. Which do you prefer Giving or Receiving? Truly, receiving. My giving is VERY limited these days due to budget considerations and has been for a long time. If I could give what I would like to, giving, definitely. As it is, I don't get much new in terms of clothes and things so it's nice to have something new once a year. Selfish, I guess so.
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Angels We Have Heard on High ("Glo-o-o-ria!")
20. Candy Canes? Blech, hate peppermint.
